About

Ben Joseph sitting on a couch with his guitar

Ben Joseph isn't your average musician - he's a sonic alchemist who's been raising hell across three continents. This multi-instrumental maverick cut his teeth in the gritty underbelly of Alabama's music scene, slinging riffs and spitting lyrics in smoke-filled blues joints while moonlighting as a bluegrass rebel with Red Clay Revival.

But the South couldn't contain his wild spirit. New Orleans beckoned, and Ben answered the call, diving headfirst into the city's intoxicating musical gumbo. From sweaty Bourbon Street dives to the hallowed stages of Frenchmen, he fused Cajun fire with hip-hop swagger, R&B soul, and indie rock.

Not content with conquering the States, Ben crossed the pond to London, armed with an MA in Ethnomusicology and an insatiable hunger for musical mayhem. Now he's a force of nature on the European circuit, melting faces and blowing minds from Swiss mountain festivals to Dutch underground clubs.

Currently, Ben's sonic assault takes form in The Lay Lows and Deep Shiver, but don't try to pin him down. This musical chameleon is always evolving, always pushing boundaries, and always ready to set your world on fire with his genre-defying sound.
