Guitar and Music Lessons in Geneva

In-person and online music instruction for all ages and skill levels

Ben Joseph teaching guitar lessons in Geneva

Hello, I'm Ben Joseph, a Geneva-based music teacher, lecturer, and multi-instrumentalist with over 20 years of experience teaching music to students of all ages and skill levels. I hold an MA in Ethnomusicology and a BA in Music Production, and I design personalized music lessons for beginners, intermediate players, and advanced musicians, both in Geneva and online.

I currently lecture in music at Webster University and have previously taught and led programs with the Alabama Blues Project in the United States and Surrey Arts in the United Kingdom. Over the years, I have worked with hundreds of private students, helping them develop practical skills in performance, theory, songwriting, and music production. My teaching approach combines strong musical foundations with real-world experience gained from decades of professional performing and touring.

Private music lessons are available in Geneva and online, designed for students of all levels beginning at age 8. Each lesson is tailored to individual goals, whether learning to play, write, or produce music, in a friendly and practical setting.
